The
Corrales Cultural Arts Council was established in 1988 to bring musical
performances of professional quality to the people of Corrales, New Mexico,
and surrounding communities. The Council, originally organized under the
sponsorship of the Corrales Historical Society, has made one of its goals
the greater use of the Historic Old San Ysidro Church as a public perfomance
center.
Our mission is to
bring professional music performances to the Village of Corrales at a low
cost to audiences. We also promote music education in the Albuquerque, New
Mexico metropolitan area and surrounding communities, through our Music
in Schools activities in public and private schools at no cost to the schools.
CCAC is a New
Mexico non-profit corporation recognized as a charitable 501(c)(3) organization
by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. We are supported by donations from
individuals and local businesses and from NEA and WESTAF funding. All
donations are tax deductible.
CCAC is an all-volunteer
council of members who select artists, advertise and produce our concerts,
raise funds, and advance our Music in Schools program. Our council currently
